HHA Home Health Aide Part Time
About The Position
Benchmark at Rye is seeking compassionate Home Health Aides to provide care to residents in a warm, comfortable, home-like environment. This is a part-time day position with a 6 a.m.–2 p.m. schedule, paying $20–$23 per hour. The role includes supporting residents with activities of daily living, documenting care and reporting health or behavior changes, engaging residents in meaningful activities, and providing emotional support. Associates use customer service skills to help ensure residents receive exceptional, meaningful care. Other duties may be assigned as needed.
Requirements
- Valid CNA, HHA, or LNA license required.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in a skilled nursing or assisted living community is preferred but not required.
- Previous experience working with people with dementia is desired.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Document care provided and report changes in residents’ health or behavior to appropriate staff.
- Engage residents in meaningful activities and provide emotional support.
- Use customer service skills to provide residents with exceptional and meaningful care.
- Perform other duties as needed.
