About The Position
Affirmed Home Care is seeking compassionate, dependable, and experienced Certified Home Health Aides for immediate per diem opportunities in Glen Cove, Glen Head, Oyster Bay, and surrounding Nassau County communities. The role provides one-on-one care to clients in their homes, with several current case openings offering consistent hours. Drivers and candidates with reliable transportation are strongly encouraged to apply. Available schedules are Glen Cove: Monday–Friday, 12:00 PM–6:00 PM; Glen Head: Monday–Thursday, 9:00 AM–7:00 PM; and Oyster Bay: Friday–Sunday, 9:00 AM–6:00 PM. Pay is $19.65–$20.00 per hour, with weekly pay via direct deposit and flexible per diem opportunities. The employer offers multiple local assignments, immediate placement opportunities for qualified candidates, a caregiver referral bonus program, streamlined onboarding, and a dedicated support team. Candidates must provide required health documentation for onboarding: a physical examination completed within the past 12 months; a PPD or QuantiFERON test completed within the past 12 months, or a chest X-ray completed within the past five years; and MMR immunization documentation as required by applicable onboarding requirements.
Requirements
- Active New York State HHA certification.
- At least one year of HHA experience.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
- Provide a physical examination completed within the past 12 months.
- Provide a PPD or QuantiFERON test completed within the past 12 months, or a chest X-ray completed within the past five years.
- Provide MMR immunization documentation as required by applicable onboarding requirements.
