About The Position

emmUcare is seeking compassionate and dependable Home Health Aides to provide non-skilled, in-home care to clients in Muncy and surrounding areas. The role is suited to people who value meaningful work, flexible scheduling, and building trusted relationships with clients. Care is tailored to each client’s needs and care plan, and duties vary by client and shift; listed tasks are examples and may not apply to every assignment.

Requirements

• Complete a two-step TB test, TSPOT, or chest X-ray.
• Complete the state competency test provided by the agency, or hold a valid CNA license.
• Demonstrate a reliable, compassionate, and professional demeanor.
• Hold a valid driver’s license and be able to travel for work.
• Have child clearances.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care, including hygiene and dressing.
• Provide incontinence care and mobility support.
• Offer companionship and emotional support.
• Plan and prepare meals.
• Perform light housekeeping.
• Run errands and provide transportation.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Document care.
