About The Position
Ohana Pacific Health is seeking a passionate Home Health Aide to provide personal care and assigned therapy exercises in patients’ homes and help patients reach the maximum level of self-care. The aide provides activities of daily living care, including bathing, hair care, nail and skin care, and oral hygiene. The role serves as an integral member of the interdisciplinary team and includes recognizing and reporting changes in skin condition to Case Managers. A $1,000 retention bonus is offered.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum age of 18.
- Completion of a state-approved Nurse Aide Training Program.
- Maintain current BLS Certification.
- Current and valid 2 Step TB clearance and health review; these can be completed in-house.
Nice To Haves
- Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) certification with the State of Hawaii is preferred.
