About The Position
Silver Lining In-Home Care is seeking to hire full- and part-time Home Health Aides (HHAs) to provide in-home care services to clients in Kent County. The company is client-driven with a mission to uplift communities, enable aging adults to live life to the fullest, and empower their Care Family. They offer a free, 2-week HHA Certification Course (in-person, M/T/TH/F, 9 am-4 pm) which includes lecture, skills practice, homework, and skills testing. Upon completion of the course and orientation, participants will be ready to pick up shifts. The course also includes training for Behavioral Health Paraprofessional skills. Requirements
- Eligible to work in the United States (no sponsorship provided).
- Pass a criminal record check that meets hiring guidelines.
- Pass a physical and 2-Step PPD.
- Able to lift, position, and transfer patients.
- Compassionate, respectful, committed to excellence, and possess a good attitude.
Responsibilities
- Provide in-home care services to clients.
- Care for individuals with behavioral and mental health needs.
- Complete assigned homework for the HHA Certification Course.
- Participate in skills competency sign-offs and tests.
