About The Position
Silver Lining In-Home Care is seeking to hire full- and part-time HHAs to provide in-home care services to clients in New Castle and Wilmington, DE. The company is client-driven with a mission to lift up every community, enable aging adults to live life to the fullest, and empower their Care Family in their purpose-driven work. For individuals looking to start a career in healthcare, the company provides a free, 2-week HHA Certification Course (in-person, M/T/TH/F) which includes lecture, skills training, homework, optional open lab on Wednesdays, and skills competency testing on Fridays. Upon completion of the course and orientation, employees will be ready to pick up shifts. The course also offers Behavioral Health Paraprofessional training. Requirements
- Eligible to work in the United States (no sponsorship provided).
- Pass a criminal record check that meets hiring guidelines.
- Pass a physical and 2-Step PPD.
- Able to lift, position, and transfer patients.
- Compassionate, respectful, committed to excellence, and possess a good attitude.
