About The Position
Silver Lining In-Home Care is looking to hire full- and part-time HHAs to provide in-home care services to our clients. We are a client-driven company with a mission to lift up every community we serve, enable aging adults to live life to the fullest, and empower our Care Family in their purpose-driven work. If you are purpose-driven and looking to start your career in health care, we provide a 2-week HHA Certification Course (In person, M/T/TH/F 9am-4pm). The course itself is FREE, and you'll get a free bag at the end! After your first 500 hours of employment, your certificate will be released to you. Join our team and take the first step towards a career in care! This course also offers Behavioral Health Paraprofessional training that would prepare you with the skills to care for those with behavioral and mental health needs.
Requirements
- Eligible to work in the United States (no sponsorship provided).
- Pass a criminal record check that meets hiring guidelines.
- Pass a physical and 2-Step PPD.
- Able to lift, position, and transfer patients.
- Compassionate, respectful, committed to excellence, and possess a good attitude.
Responsibilities
- Provide in-home care services to clients.
- Complete homework assignments for the HHA Certification Course.
- Participate in skills competency sign-offs and tests.
- Care for individuals with behavioral and mental health needs.
