About The Position

Visiting Angels’ Richardson office is seeking Home Health Aides to provide compassionate in-home support to senior adults and others in need throughout North Texas. The service area includes Richardson, Garland, Plano, Addison, Wylie, Rockwall, Mesquite, Forney, and surrounding communities. The role offers an opportunity to support clients and their families through companionship and a range of daily-care services, including personal care, mobility assistance, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and transportation. Advanced training opportunities are available in areas such as dementia care and Alzheimer’s care. Requirements

Passion for serving others and a genuine caregiver orientation.
Valid driver’s license.
At least 2 years of experience.
Excellent knowledge of emergency response and first aid.
Knowledge of housekeeping activities and cooking, with attention to dietary constraints.
Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards.

High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Help clients take prescribed medication.
Assist clients with ambulation and mobility at home and outside, including attending appointments and taking walks.
Assist clients with personal care and hygiene.
Help clients with routine exercises.
Plan and prepare meals with clients’ assistance when they are able.
Shop for clients or accompany them while shopping.
Perform light housekeeping duties that clients cannot complete on their own.
Provide pleasant and supportive companionship.
Report unusual incidents.
Act quickly and responsibly in emergencies.
