About The Position

Giving Home Health Care is seeking a compassionate HHA or CNA in Ojo Caliente, New Mexico, to provide patient care in accordance with a physician-established care plan. Care is delivered one-on-one at the patient’s residence. This is a 1099 contract opportunity, with approximately seven hours per week available. Patient schedule openings are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday. Once patients are accepted into the program, the benefit does not expire, allowing caregivers to build long-term relationships with them. Offers are contingent upon passing a background check. Requirements

Ability to monitor vital signs.
Dependable transportation.
Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

Provide one-on-one services to the patient in their home.
Assist the patient with activities of daily living and personal care.
Perform light housekeeping.
Prepare meals.
Monitor vital signs, temperature, respiration, and other measures according to the plan of care.
Remind the patient to take medication as prescribed.
Maintain records and documentation of services.
Communicate with the patient’s family, doctors, and other prescribed individuals about the patient’s health and care.
