About The Position
Giving Home Health Care is seeking a compassionate Home Health Aide (HHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide patient care in Pecos, New Mexico. The role involves administering care at the patient’s residence in accordance with a physician-established care plan. This is a 1099 contract opportunity. Scheduling will be established among the aide, patient, and case manager; available shifts include weekday and weekend hours.
Requirements
- Ability to monitor vital signs.
- Dependable transportation.
- Current CPR certification.
- Pass a background check; offers are contingent upon passing.
Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one service to the patient in their home.
- Assist the patient with activities of daily living and personal care.
- Perform light housekeeping.
- Prepare meals.
- Monitor vital signs, temperature, respiration, and other measures according to the care plan.
- Remind the patient to take medication as prescribed.
- Maintain records and documentation of services.
- Communicate with the patient’s family, doctors, and other prescribed individuals regarding the patient’s health and care.
