About The Position
Giving Home Health Care is seeking a compassionate HHA or CNA to provide patient care in Ojo Caliente, New Mexico, in accordance with a physician-established care plan. Care is provided one-on-one at the patient’s residence. The role is a 1099 contract opportunity, and the posting describes approximately 7 hours per week available, with schedule openings on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday. Offers are contingent on passing a background check. Requirements
- Ability to monitor vital signs.
- Dependable transportation.
- Current CPR certification.
Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one service to the patient in their home.
- Assist with activities of daily living and personal care.
- Perform light housekeeping.
- Prepare meals.
- Monitor vital signs, temperature, respiration, and other measures according to the plan of care.
- Remind the patient to take medication as prescribed.
- Maintain records and documentation of services.
- Communicate with the patient’s family, doctors, and other prescribed individuals about the patient’s health and care.
