About The Position
Family Pillars Homecare is a growing home care agency committed to providing compassionate, reliable care to seniors and adults who need support. The agency is expanding across multiple counties and is seeking dedicated HHAs and CNAs to provide in-home care to a fall-risk patient in Jensen Beach, Florida. The role involves assisting with activities of daily living, supporting safe transfers and mobility, providing companionship, and following the patient's individualized care plan. Caregivers are expected to preserve patient privacy, dignity, and comfort and communicate changes or concerns to the care team.
Requirements
- HHA certificate or passing the HHA State Exam, or a CNA license.
- CPR-BLS certification.
- Physical Health Form dated within the last six months.
- Negative TB skin test results or a TBQ-Quantiferon Gold TB blood test result.
- CEU certificate in HIV/AIDS.
- CEU certificate in Alzheimer's Disease and Related Disorders.
- Level 2 Background Check or willingness to obtain one.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation, with proof of car insurance.
- Ability to work independently and professionally.
- Reliability, punctuality, and professionalism.
Responsibilities
- Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding, and mobility.
- Provide care for a fall-risk patient, with close attention to safety.
- Assist with transfers, repositioning, and mobility.
- Provide companionship and emotional support.
- Follow the patient's individualized care plan.
- Maintain patient privacy, dignity, and comfort at all times.
- Communicate clearly with the care team regarding changes or concerns.
