About The Position

HomePointe HealthCare is hiring a full-time Home Health Aide (HHA)/Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide care to children in their homes. The company primarily serves children with acute or chronic illnesses and medically fragile children, helping them maintain optimal health and reach their full potential at home. The schedule is weekends only.

The role provides home health aide services under the direction of a Clinical Care Manager or Registered Nurse. The aide supports clients’ personal comfort and activities of daily living, performs household services, reports clinical information about client status, and may perform simple procedures as an extension of therapy or nursing services. The aide also communicates with the interdisciplinary team through verbal reports and, as requested, staff meetings and team conferences.

Requirements

• Successfully complete a formal certification training program and a written skills test and competency evaluation, as required by state and federal requirements.
• Be currently listed in good standing on the state Certified Nurse Aide or Home Health Aide registry.
• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Be CPR certified.

Nice To Haves

• A minimum of six months' work experience in a supervised setting, preferably in a health care facility.

Responsibilities
