About The Position

Family Pillars Homecare is a growing home care agency providing care to seniors and adults who need support. The agency is expanding across multiple counties and seeks dedicated HHAs and CNAs to provide in-home care. The role includes assisting a fall-risk patient with daily activities, mobility, safety, companionship, and following an individualized care plan. Caregivers must maintain the patient’s privacy, dignity, and comfort and communicate changes or concerns to the care team.

Requirements

HHA certificate or passing the HHA State Exam, or a CNA license.
CPR - BLS Certification.
Physical Health Form dated within the last 6 months.
Negative TB skin test results or a TBQ - Quantiferon Gold TB blood test result.
CEU - HIV/AIDS Certificate.
CEU - Alzheimer's Disease and Related Disorders Certificate.
Level 2 Background Check, or willingness to obtain one.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation with proof of car insurance.
Ability to work independently and professionally.
Reliability and punctuality.

Responsibilities

Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding, and mobility.
Provide care for a fall-risk patient with close attention to safety.
Assist with transfers, repositioning, and mobility.
Provide companionship and emotional support.
Follow the patient’s individualized care plan.
Maintain patient privacy, dignity, and comfort.
Communicate clearly with the care team about changes or concerns.
