About The Position

HouseWorks is hiring caregivers to provide compassionate, personalized care that helps seniors live safely and comfortably in their own homes while supporting their dignity, independence, and well-being. The role may include home health aide, companion, and VA medical companion driver duties. Caregivers assist with daily tasks and personal care, provide companionship and medication reminders, and document client activities and changes in condition. Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license, car insurance, and reliable transportation.
• HHA certificate or CNA license.
• Pass a criminal background check.
• Compassionate, patient, and dependable personality.

Nice To Haves

• Open availability is strongly preferred.
• Previous experience as a CNA, PCA, Homemaker, or Companion.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with light housekeeping, errands, meal preparation, grocery shopping, and transportation.
• Provide personal care, including bathing, dressing, mobility support, and incontinence care.
• Offer companionship and conversation to promote emotional well-being.
• Provide medication reminders as needed.
• Document daily activities, client well-being, and changes in condition.
