About The Position

Seniornest Homecare is hiring Certified Home Health Aides (CHHA) and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) for live-in and hourly cases in Paterson, New Jersey, and throughout Bergen and Passaic Counties. The nurse-owned agency offers support from a Registered Nurse with more than 35 years of hands-on patient care experience, along with staff available 24/7. Openings are immediate, with the possibility of starting work this week. Hourly pay starts at $21 per hour, based on the case and experience. Live-in pay starts at $200 per day; fill-in and permanent cases are available. Part-time and full-time schedules are available, with flexible scheduling and the ability to select cases. The hiring process includes a phone interview, an online application, onboarding, and orientation. Scheduling may begin the same day onboarding is completed when cases are available.

Requirements

Hold a current New Jersey CHHA or CNA license in good standing.
Have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Have at least 6 months of caregiving experience in a facility or home-care setting.
Have a current PPD test from within the last 12 months and an MMR vaccination record.
Be able to read and follow a care plan and complete activities of daily living safely and professionally.

Responsibilities

Provide personal care and assistance with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and ambulation, according to the care plan.
Offer companionship, conversation, and emotional support to clients in their homes.
Assist with light housekeeping related to client care, such as tidying, laundry, and meal assistance, as directed by the care plan.
Follow each client’s individualized care plan and communicate changes in condition to the office or supervising nurse.
Maintain a safe, clean environment and use appropriate infection-control and PPE procedures.
