About The Position

Mind & Mobility is seeking a compassionate and dependable Home Health Aide or Certified Nursing Assistant to provide high-quality in-home care to clients in St. Petersburg, Florida. The role supports seniors in living independently and includes personal care, assistance with activities of daily living, mobility support, light housekeeping, meal preparation, and companionship. The caregiver works with clients, families, and the care team to promote a safe, respectful environment and enhance clients’ quality of life. This is a PRN, as-needed position. Hours are flexible and depend on caregiver availability and client needs; the organization will work with caregivers to align schedules with their preferred hours where possible. Listed shifts include Tuesday, Saturday, and Sunday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday from 8 p.m. to 8 a.m. Pay is $16.50 per hour.

Requirements

At least one year of professional caregiving or home care experience.
Valid driver’s license.
Reliable personal vehicle.
Current CPR certification.
Ability to speak, read, and write in English.
Must complete Level 2 background screening through Florida’s Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse.

Nice To Haves

CNA license, HHA certificate, or verifiable medical background.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
Prepare meals and cook according to clients’ dietary needs and restrictions.
Perform light housekeeping, including cleaning and organizing clients’ living spaces.
Monitor and record vital signs, provide medication reminders, and complete medical documentation as required.
Assist clients with mobility and transfers using proper techniques and equipment.
Provide companionship and emotional support.
Follow care plans and instructions provided by healthcare professionals.
Provide errands or transportation as needed.
