About The Position

Mind & Mobility is seeking a compassionate and dependable Home Health Aide/Certified Nursing Assistant to provide high-quality in-home care. The role supports clients’ independence and quality of life through personal care, assistance with activities of daily living, mobility support, light housekeeping, meal preparation, and companionship. The caregiver works with clients, families, and the care team to maintain a safe, supportive, and respectful environment. This is a PRN, as-needed position. Work hours are flexible and depend on caregiver availability and client needs; the employer will try to build schedules around caregivers’ preferred hours and availability. The posting lists 12-hour AM/PM shifts and 4–6-hour AM shifts. The position is located in Lakeland, Florida, and pays $15 per hour.

Requirements

At least one year of professional caregiving or home care experience.
Valid driver’s license.
Reliable personal vehicle.
Current CPR certification.
Ability to speak, read, and write in English.
Complete a Level 2 background screening through Florida’s Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse.

Nice To Haves

CNA license, HHA certificate, or verifiable medical background preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
Prepare and cook meals according to clients’ dietary needs and restrictions.
Perform light housekeeping, including cleaning and organizing clients’ living spaces.
Monitor and record vital signs, provide medication reminders, and complete medical documentation as required.
Assist clients with mobility and transfers using proper techniques and equipment.
Provide companionship and emotional support.
Follow care plans and instructions provided by healthcare professionals.
Run errands or provide transportation as needed.
