About The Position

Family Pillars Homecare is a growing home care agency providing compassionate, reliable care to seniors and adults who need support. The agency is expanding across multiple counties and is seeking dedicated HHAs and CNAs to provide in-home assistance. This role supports a fall-risk patient by following an individualized care plan, helping with daily activities and mobility, and communicating patient changes or concerns to the care team.

Requirements

• HHA certificate or passing the HHA State Exam, or a CNA license.
• CPR-BLS certification.
• Physical Health Form dated within the last six months.
• Negative TB skin test results or a TBQ-Quantiferon Gold blood test result.
• CEU certificate in HIV/AIDS.
• CEU certificate in Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Disorders.
• Level 2 Background Check, or willingness to obtain one.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation, with proof of car insurance.
• Ability to work independently and professionally.
• Reliability and punctuality.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding, and mobility.
• Provide care for a fall-risk patient, paying close attention to safety.
• Assist with transfers, repositioning, and mobility.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Follow the patient’s individualized care plan.
• Maintain the patient’s privacy, dignity, and comfort.
• Communicate clearly with the care team about changes or concerns.
