About The Position
Join the program supporting Airbnb’s Luxe offering as a Home Consultant, helping uphold the quality and hospitality standards expected of luxury homes. As part of the Managed Services program, you will conduct in-person home assessments, document property conditions, take photos, and submit detailed evaluation reports for the luxury quality review process. Consultations typically take approximately two hours, with timing varying by property size. The project operates on an as-needed basis, and assignment volume may fluctuate; work is not guaranteed. Compensation is per assignment. Candidates propose a base rate for reviewing and submitting a report for a one-bedroom home; average regional base rates are generally $75–$90. The rate increases by $5 for each additional bedroom, up to the rate for an eight-bedroom property. Consultants also receive travel compensation for each day they conduct an assessment, at a predetermined rate of $5–$92 based on the assigned zone and their distance from its center. Further travel-compensation details and related procedures are shared before offers are extended.
Requirements
- Have a flexible schedule.
- Have reliable transportation and be willing to travel to assigned locations.
- Own a phone or tablet that can be used to complete reports and upload photos.
- Have excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail.
- Be proficient in written and spoken English.
- Be comfortable with technology and able to complete reports using a stable internet connection.
- Be located within a one-hour driving distance of the job-post location being applied for.
Nice To Haves
- Background in hospitality, customer service, interior design, real estate, or a related field; this is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Conduct in-person, on-site home consultations and property evaluations.
- Capture high-quality photos and document property conditions.
- Complete structured assessment reports using independent expert evaluation and provided guidelines and templates.
- Maintain professional and responsive communication and interactions with Hosts.
- Coordinate scheduling and availability through MediaBox and email.
- Submit reports accurately and on time after each consultation.
