About The Position

Hiring caregivers for multiple positions in the Las Vegas, Summerlin, Henderson, and Boulder areas. Hours vary according to caregiver availability and client needs; shifts are 4–12 hours long, shifts are not guaranteed, and this is not a full-time position. The role offers initial training and ongoing education based on current senior-care research. Caregivers must be able to pass a drug test.

Caregivers provide personal and household assistance to clients, including light cleaning, meal preparation, companionship, help with changing clothes and bathing, and driving clients when applicable. The role also requires using the caregiver app to accept assigned shifts, record shift notes, and clock in and out on time; keeping credentials current; traveling to assigned shifts; and coordinating with facility staff, client families, and other caregivers.

Requirements

• Able to pass a drug test.
• Compassionate and focused on clients’ needs.
• Good communication and listening skills with clients and coworkers.
• Flexible and willing to accept shifts as available and work within client needs and circumstances.
• Reliable and responsible, including punctuality and following procedures and guidelines.
• At least one year of caregiving experience is preferred but not required.
• Provide a 2-step TB test or chest X-ray.
• Provide a physical ID or driver’s license.
• Provide a Social Security card.
• Hold valid CPR/First Aid certification.
• Obtain a Personal Care Attendant certificate.
• Pass fingerprint clearance/background check.
• If driving, provide car insurance and a 3-year driving history.

Nice To Haves

• At least one year of caregiving experience.
• Driver qualification, including car insurance and a 3-year driving history, for caregivers who drive clients.

Responsibilities

• Accept assigned shifts through the caregiver app.
• Drive clients when needed, if qualified and serving as a driver.
• Travel to assigned shifts by car, bus, rideshare, or other means.
• Enter caregiver notes in the app after shifts.
• Clock in and out using the app for every shift and do so on time.
• Keep credentials up to date and submit them by email or text.
• Collaborate with facility staff, client families, and other caregivers to support client care.
• Provide light housekeeping, meal preparation, companionship, and assistance with changing clothes and bathing.
