About The Position

Amada Senior Care is hiring compassionate, dependable caregivers to provide non-medical, in-home assistance to seniors and veterans in Sugar Land, Texas, and surrounding areas. Caregivers help clients remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes. Applicants must be willing to travel to surrounding communities, including locations within a 20-mile radius. The role offers part-time opportunities, flexible scheduling, and in-office orientation and training. Weekend and overnight opportunities are also available.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of caregiving experience.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass background checks and drug screening.
• Willingness to work with both male and female clients.
• Ability and willingness to travel within a 20-mile radius.
• A dependable, compassionate, and professional attitude.

Nice To Haves

• Experience using Hoyer lifts and gait belts.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Assist with personal care, including bathing, dressing, toileting, and grooming.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Assist with mobility, errands, and appointments.
• Prepare meals and perform light housekeeping.
• Observe and report changes in a client's condition.
• Encourage independence and participation in daily activities.
