About The Position

The Home Caregiver / PCA provides in-home and other client care across the Las Vegas, Summerlin, Henderson, and Boulder areas. Shifts are 4–12 hours long, vary based on caregiver availability and client needs, and are not guaranteed. This is not a full-time position, and two-hour shifts are not available. Caregivers must be able to pass a drug test. The role involves assisting clients with daily needs such as light housekeeping, meal preparation, companionship, changing clothes, and bathing. Caregivers may drive clients when needed if they are drivers, and must arrange their own transportation to assigned shifts. Caregivers use a specialized app to accept shifts, record notes, and clock in and out. They are also responsible for keeping their credentials current and coordinating with facility staff, client families, and other caregivers. The company offers initial training and continuing education based on current research in senior care. Compensation is $15 per hour, with overtime pay for shifts over eight hours and bonus pay for shorter shifts of four to five hours.

Requirements

Must be able to pass a drug test.
Required hiring credentials and checks include a 2-step TB test or chest X-ray, physical, ID or driver’s license, Social Security card, valid CPR/First Aid certification, Personal Care Attendant Certificate, and fingerprint clearance/background check.
Drivers must provide car insurance and a three-year driving history.
At least one year of caregiving experience is preferred but not required.
Must be compassionate and client-focused.
Must communicate clearly with clients and coworkers.
Must be flexible with available shifts and client needs.
Must be reliable, responsible, punctual, and able to follow procedures and guidelines.

Responsibilities

Accept assigned shifts through the caregiver app.
Drive clients when needed, if serving as a driver.
Arrange transportation to assigned shifts by car, bus, Lyft, or other means.
Enter caregiver notes in the app after shifts.
Clock in and out on time for every shift using the app.
Keep credentials up to date and submit them by email or text.
Collaborate with facility staff, client families, and other caregivers to support client care.
Provide light housekeeping, meal preparation, companionship, and assistance with changing clothes and bathing.
