About The Position

Amada Senior Care is hiring caregivers to provide compassionate, non-medical in-home support to seniors and veterans in Sugar Land, Texas, and surrounding communities. Caregivers help clients remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes. Applicants must be willing to travel within a 20-mile radius. Part-time opportunities are available, including weekend and overnight schedules, with flexible scheduling. Orientation and training take place in the office.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of caregiving experience.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass background checks and drug screening.
• Willingness to work with both male and female clients.
• Ability and willingness to travel within a 20-mile radius.
• Dependable, compassionate, and professional attitude.

Nice To Haves

• Experience using Hoyer lifts and gait belts.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Assist with personal care, including bathing, dressing, toileting, and grooming.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Assist clients with mobility, errands, and appointments.
• Prepare meals and perform light housekeeping.
• Observe and report changes in a client's condition.
• Encourage independence and participation in daily activities.
