About The Position
The PCA / Caregiver provides in-home care in Boston, Roxbury, Jamaica Plain, and Dorchester. The role includes companionship and emotional support, personal care, mobility assistance, meal preparation, light housekeeping, medication reminders, and driving clients to errands, appointments, and outings. AM or PM shifts are available, with shifts of 1–4 hours that can be combined for full-time work or kept part-time. Scheduling is available Monday through Sunday.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of caregiving experience.
- Ability to communicate clearly in English.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Comfort assisting with errands, appointments, and light housekeeping.
Nice To Haves
- Having your own vehicle is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Provide companionship and emotional support.
- Assist with bathing, dressing, and personal hygiene.
- Support safe transfers and mobility.
- Prepare meals and assist with dietary needs.
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry.
- Provide medication reminders.
- Drive clients to errands, appointments, and outings.
