About The Position
Guardian Angel Senior Services is hiring certified and non-certified caregivers to support seniors in their homes throughout Cape Cod, including Wareham, Falmouth, Centerville, Sandwich, Yarmouth, and Mashpee, Massachusetts. Caregivers travel to clients in Falmouth and nearby areas to help them live safely and comfortably at home. The role may suit candidates seeking flexible weekend work or a meaningful second job, and the employer offers the opportunity to create a flexible schedule. Candidates should be compassionate, respectful, dependable, able to communicate clearly in English, and able to travel in the service area. A high school diploma is preferred. Responsibilities
- Perform light housekeeping to maintain a safe environment.
- Run errands such as grocery shopping.
- Provide transportation and accompany clients to appointments.
- Remind or assist clients with medication.
- Plan and prepare meals, with or without client involvement.
- Assist clients with personal care, hygiene, and daily living needs.
- Provide companionship through conversation and engagement.
- Respond quickly and responsibly in emergencies.
- Report unusual changes or incidents.
