About The Position
University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Home Care Workers in Ypsilanti, MI. As a Home Care Worker, you will provide essential support and assistance to clients in their homes, helping them maintain independence and improve their quality of life.
Requirements
- Previous experience in home care or related field is a plus
- Ability to pass background checks
- Reliable transportation to travel to client homes in Ypsilanti, MI
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate, patient, and attentive to clients’ needs
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary requirements
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Help with light housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, and errands
- Monitor client health and report any changes or concerns to healthcare providers or family members
- Follow care plans and communicate effectively with supervisors and team members
