Requirements

• Previous experience in home care or related field is an asset but not required.
• Ability to handle physical demands of the job, including lifting and standing for extended periods.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable, compassionate, and patient attitude.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation is a plus.
• Ability to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and support to clients, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting assistance.
• Assist with mobility and transfers to ensure client safety.
• Help with meal preparation and feeding as needed.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and tidying living areas.
• Medication reminders and monitor client health and well being.
• Offer companionship and emotional support to reduce social isolation.
• Communicate effectively with clients, family members, and healthcare professionals.
• Maintain accurate records of services provided and report any changes in client condition.
