About The Position
Guardian Angel Senior Services is seeking an experienced, compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as a Home Care Education Nurse. This role is ideal for an RN passionate about educating others, developing caregivers, and improving the quality of care for seniors. The position offers an excellent opportunity for an RN who enjoys teaching, coaching, and making a meaningful impact on both caregivers and clients. As our Education Nurse, you'll play a vital role in preparing caregivers to deliver compassionate, high-quality care that allows seniors to remain safely at home.
Requirements
- Current Massachusetts RN License
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office and electronic documentation
Nice To Haves
- Home Care, Home Health, or Long-Term Care experience preferred
- Previous teaching, training, or supervisory experience is a plus
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Organized with excellent documentation abilities
Responsibilities
- Conduct skills training for new caregivers
- Teach Home Health Aide (HHA) and Personal Care Assistant (PCA) competencies
- Mentor caregivers through hands-on education and coaching
- Complete competency evaluations and annual skills assessments
- Assist with caregiver development and continuing education
- Support compliance with Massachusetts home care regulations
- Collaborate with our Scheduling and Clinical teams
- Participate in quality assurance and caregiver performance improvement
- Help maintain training records and required documentation
