About The Position

Touchmark at The Ranch is seeking compassionate, hospitality-minded full-time Home Care Caregivers for its Home Care Services team, which serves residents of the community. Caregivers assist residents with daily living activities in their homes, including personal care, housekeeping, laundry, meal planning and preparation, and accompaniment to appointments and grocery shopping. They also provide companionship through activities such as reading, walking, crafting, listening to music, and conversation. The role calls for someone who is trustworthy, compassionate, committed to confidentiality and ongoing learning, and able to remain patient and tactful when interacting with residents, family members, staff, and visitors. Requirements

• Hold a current Arizona Caregiver Certification.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Be willing to obtain CPR/First Aid certification.
• Have a genuine interest in caring for elderly residents and working in a geriatric environment.
• Be willing to continue learning and improving skills.
• Be committed to confidentiality.
• Be able to maintain patient and tactful composure when dealing with residents, family members, staff members, and visitors.
• Be trustworthy and compassionate, and demonstrate a commitment to Touchmark’s values.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, and other daily living activities in their homes.
• Perform general housekeeping and laundry tasks.
• Plan and prepare nutritious meals.
• Accompany residents to appointments and grocery shopping, and assist with activities such as dog walking.
• Provide companionship through reading, walks, crafts, listening to music, and conversation.
• Model and encourage Touchmark’s values of excellence, teamwork, hospitality, integrity, and compassion.
• Maintain confidentiality and patient, tactful composure when interacting with residents, family members, staff, and visitors.
