About The Position

Touchmark at Meadow Lake Village is hiring a caregiver to support residents with activities of daily living and provide comfort, dignity, and emotional support. The role involves helping with bathing, grooming, hygiene, dressing, mobility, toileting, and other personal care needs. Caregivers are also expected to build meaningful connections and serve as a positive, reassuring presence for residents and their families, including by using the Best Friends™ Approach to dementia care.

The community is a full-service retirement community in the Boise/Meridian area, and emphasizes a warm, supportive environment for residents and team members. Evening shifts are available, with availability for weekends and holidays as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Willingness to obtain CPR/First Aid Certification.
• Genuine passion for working with seniors.
• Strong communication skills and professionalism.
• Desire to learn, grow, and be part of a team.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and proof of insurance.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with bathing, grooming, and hygiene.
• Support residents with dressing and mobility.
• Assist with toileting and personal care.
• Build meaningful connections with residents and provide a positive, reassuring presence for residents and their families.
• Provide emotional support using the Best Friends™ Approach to dementia care.
