About The Position

AbriCare is seeking Caregivers to provide essential personal care and individualized support to clients in their homes in North Kansas City, Missouri, and surrounding areas. The role helps seniors and adults with disabilities maintain independence and a high quality of life. Part-time positions are available, with flexible scheduling options and hourly pay of $16.00–$17.00.

Requirements

• Be compassionate and reliable.
• Show dedication and a willingness to learn.
• Have a reliable transportation plan.
• Be able to pass a comprehensive background check.
• Have a working smartphone for time and attendance use.

Nice To Haves

• Previous caregiving experience is preferred but not required.
• Advanced Personal Care (APC) and/or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification is a plus; caregivers with these credentials are strongly encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Offer companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities.
• Assist with mobility and transfers.
• Complete essential shopping and errands; client transportation is not included.
