About The Position

Touchmark at The Ranch is seeking compassionate, hospitality-minded people to join its Home Care Services team as full-time Home Care Caregivers. The team serves residents of Touchmark at The Ranch and operates from the community. Caregivers assist residents with daily living activities in their homes, including personal care, household tasks, meal preparation, errands, appointments, and companionship. The role offers an opportunity to make a positive daily impact and build relationships with residents.

Requirements

• Hold a current Arizona Caregiver Certification.
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Be willing to obtain CPR/First Aid certification.
• Have a genuine interest in caring for elderly residents and working in a geriatric environment.
• Be willing to continue learning and improving skills, and maintain confidentiality.
• Maintain patient and tactful composure when interacting with residents, family members, staff members, and visitors.
• Demonstrate a commitment to Touchmark’s values of excellence, teamwork, hospitality, integrity, and compassion, and a desire to model those values and encourage others to be allies, friends, and givers.
• Be trustworthy and compassionate.

Nice To Haves

• Med Tech Certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Perform general housekeeping and laundry tasks.
• Plan and prepare nutritious meals.
• Accompany residents to appointments and grocery shopping, and assist with activities such as dog walking.
• Provide companionship through activities such as reading, walks, crafts, listening to music, and conversation.
