About The Position

Eminence Home Care is seeking a caregiver/direct care worker to provide direct care and support to clients in their homes or in a healthcare facility. The role focuses on helping clients receive high-quality, compassionate care and supporting their ability to live with dignity and independence. Day, afternoon, and evening shifts are available, with per-diem, part-time, and up-to-full-time scheduling options.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1–2 years of experience in home care or a related field.
• Flexibility in scheduling to meet client demand.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Compassionate, client-centered approach.

Nice To Haves

• State Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification; welcome but not required.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Help maintain a safe and clean environment through light housekeeping and laundry.
• Prepare meals and support clients’ nutrition and hydration, including monitoring food and water intake.
• Support socialization and engagement through activities at home or in the community.
• Provide emotional support to clients and their families through respite care and companionship.
