About The Position

Right at Home SLC is hiring compassionate, dependable, and professional caregivers to provide one-on-one support to seniors and adults with disabilities in their homes. The role helps clients maintain their independence and quality of life, and includes assistance with activities of daily living such as personal care, mobility, companionship, meal preparation, light housekeeping, transportation, and medication reminders. Candidates must have experience assisting with transfers and mobility support. Gait belt use and hands-on ambulation assistance are strongly preferred; dementia-care experience is a plus. The position is for weekday day shifts, with occasional Saturday availability.

Requirements

• At least 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Eligible to work in the United States.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Experience with transfers and mobility assistance.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Dependable, compassionate, and professional attitude.

Nice To Haves

• Experience using gait belts and providing hands-on assistance with ambulation is strongly preferred.
• Experience working with individuals living with dementia.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one support in clients’ homes.
• Assist with personal care and other activities of daily living.
• Provide mobility assistance, including support with transfers and ambulation.
• Offer companionship.
• Prepare meals and perform light housekeeping.
• Provide transportation and medication reminders.
• Help clients remain safe, comfortable, and independent at home.
