About The Position

Help at Home is hiring a compassionate and reliable Home Care Aide to provide one-on-one in-home support to clients and help meet their transportation needs. The aide assists clients with daily activities and safely transports them to appointments, errands, grocery shopping, and social outings. Candidates must have a valid driver’s license, insurance in their name, and access to a safe, reliable vehicle. The role includes assisting clients of all mobility levels and helping them enter and exit vehicles as needed. No experience is required. Caregivers must comply with state background screening requirements and complete organizational and state-required training. Pay ranges from $18.75 to $21.00 per hour depending on experience, location, and care plan. Mileage is reimbursed for client-related driving. Compensation, benefits, time off, and bonuses vary by state and location.

Requirements

Valid driver’s license or ID.
Active insurance in the candidate’s name.
Access to safe, reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

Provide one-on-one support to clients in their homes.
Assist with light housekeeping, including organizing, laundry, and basic cleaning.
Support clients with personal activities such as dressing, grooming, and meals.
Safely and promptly transport clients to appointments, errands, grocery shopping, and social outings.
Assist clients in and out of vehicles as needed.
