About The Position

Homewatch CareGivers is seeking an in-home Caregiver near its Glendora location. The role provides compassionate care to clients in their homes, supports their safety and comfort, and assists with daily activities, errands, appointments, and social activities. Caregivers use a Care app to update office staff on client progress as needed.

The agency emphasizes person-directed care, meaningful relationships, a supportive workplace, and professional development through its online Homewatch CareGivers University. Training includes online accredited courses that can help caregivers meet applicable training requirements for certification and licensure. The agency is independently owned and operated, and it makes its own hiring decisions.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have a valid driver's license and automobile insurance.
• Must pass background checks and DMV checks and have a negative TB test.
• Must be able to meet quality standards of care and follow standard procedures.
• Must have at least 1 year of personal or professional caregiving experience.
• Home Care Aide (HCA) registration is required; the agency will assist with the process if the applicant is not already registered.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate in-home care.
• Help maintain a safe and comfortable home environment.
• Assist clients with activities of daily living, such as walking, grooming, and bathing.
• Assist clients with errands, appointments, and social activities.
• Use the Care app to update office staff on client progress as needed.
