About The Position

Comfort Keepers is hiring compassionate, dependable caregivers and personal care assistants to serve clients in Forest Lake and surrounding communities. The position offers part-time weekday and weekend shifts, with opportunities for consistent hours or additional shifts that fit around an employee’s schedule. Current openings include a Friday shift from 12:15 p.m. to 4:15 p.m., flexible Monday and Friday times, and Thursday three-hour shifts. Caregivers work independently in clients’ homes and use Comfort Keepers’ Interactive Caregiving approach, engaging clients in daily routines to promote dignity, independence, safety, and quality of life. Comfort Keepers provides training, continuing education, and opportunities to develop skills and advance in a home and community-based care career. Eligible direct-care employees may be able to access scholarship support through the Minnesota Department of Health HCBS Employee Scholarship Program for approved CNA, LPN, or RN educational expenses. Eligibility generally requires working in a direct-care role an average of at least 10 hours per week and meeting program requirements; funding is limited and subject to eligibility, available funds, and approved costs.

Requirements

At least 18 years old.
Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and current auto insurance.
Dependable, compassionate, and professional.
Comfortable working independently in a client’s home.
Caregiving experience is helpful but not required.

Provide companionship and emotional support.
