About The Position
University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Care Aids to provide exceptional in-home care for our clients in Dundee, MI. The ideal candidate will support clients with daily living activities, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being in a respectful and professional manner.
Requirements
- Previous experience in home care or personal care preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with clients and family members
- Reliable and trustworthy with a strong sense of responsibility
- Ability to pass background checks
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Help with mobility and transferring clients safely
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals according to clients’ dietary needs
- Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a safe and clean environment
- Provide companionship and support to clients, engaging them in social activities
- Monitor and report changes in clients’ health status or behavior to supervisors
- Follow care plans and protocols established by healthcare professionals
