About The Position
University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Care Aid to provide in-home support to clients in the Bloomfield Hills, MI area. The ideal candidate will assist clients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being in their own homes.
Requirements
- Previous experience in home care or related field preferred
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting and assisting clients
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable, compassionate, and patient
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred
- Background check
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Help with mobility and transferring as needed
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding
- Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a safe and clean environment
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Monitor clients' health and report any changes or concerns to supervising staff
- Follow care plans and communicate effectively with family members and healthcare professionals
