About The Position
University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Care Aids to provide exceptional in-home support to our clients in Royal Oak, MI. As a Home Care Aid, you will assist individuals with daily living activities to enhance their quality of life and promote independence in the comfort of their own homes.
Requirements
- Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with clients and their families.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
- Ability to pass background.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in home care or related field is an asset but not required.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene.
- Support with meal preparation and feeding as needed.
- Help with light housekeeping duties such as laundry, cleaning, and organizing living spaces.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
- Monitor and report any changes in clients’ health or behavior to supervisors.
- Follow care plans and instructions provided by healthcare professionals.
- Ensure client safety and comfort at all times.
