About The Position
The Great Lakes Loons are seeking enthusiastic, dependable, guest-focused individuals to join the Holiday Lights Promotions Team at Dow Diamond during the winter season. Team members help create a welcoming, festive, and memorable guest experience by serving as a friendly, energetic presence throughout the event and assisting with activities, Lou E. Claus, and other guest experiences.
Requirements

- Be dependable, responsible, and punctual.
- Demonstrate strong communication and customer service skills.
- Be comfortable working in a fast-paced event environment.
- Be able to work effectively as part of a team.
- Be willing to take on a variety of responsibilities and assist wherever needed.
- Have enthusiasm for the holiday season and creating memorable guest experiences.
- Evening availability is required.
- Available to work weekends and holidays.
- Ability to withstand outdoor elements and be on your feet for extended periods.
- Capable of lifting 50 lbs.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in customer service, events, sports, entertainment, hospitality, promotions, or working with children is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Welcome guests and create a positive, festive atmosphere throughout Holiday Lights.
- Provide friendly and engaging customer service to guests of all ages.
- Assist Lou E. Claus with guest interactions, appearances, photos, and activities.
- Assist with photo-op stations and interact with guests to facilitate attendee photos.
- Help facilitate the Letters to Santa station.
- Assist with crafts and activities at Santa's Workshop.
- Collect and check tickets for the Holiday Lights train experience.
- Provide guests with directions and information about the event.
- Assist with special events, character appearances, themed nights, and other holiday programming.
- Help maintain clean, organized, and welcoming activity areas.
- Represent the Great Lakes Loons and Holiday Lights in a professional, enthusiastic, and positive manner.
- Support the Promotions team with additional event responsibilities as needed.
