About The Position

Shine is hiring a Holiday Lighting Installation Technician to install professional Christmas and holiday lighting displays at homes and businesses. The role involves outdoor, active work at different customer locations as part of a team. No prior experience is necessary; paid hands-on training is provided. Starting pay is $17 per hour, with advancement to $18 per hour typically within 60–90 days as training is completed and skills develop. The posting also lists compensation of $18–$20 per hour, plus customer tips and opportunities for performance bonuses.

The workday starts at the Shine office at 7:30 a.m. with a team meeting, followed by travel with a teammate in a company vehicle to job sites. Installations include rooflines, trees, shrubs, and other outdoor features. Most days end around 4:00 p.m., with finish times varying by schedule and a general goal of returning by 5:00 p.m. The schedule is Monday through Friday, with occasional voluntary Saturday opportunities. Advancement opportunities include Crew Leader, Trainer, Sales, and Operations roles.
