About The Position

Allied Universal Event Services is hiring Event Security staff to support sporting events and concerts. The role offers an event environment and a flexible schedule, including evening and weekend shifts. Event Staff help prepare and execute event days by managing venue entry, collecting or scanning tickets, checking wristbands and badges, directing traffic, welcoming and ushering guests, and providing helpful directions and suggestions. Team members also help maintain the cleanliness, operational efficiency, and upkeep of designated areas while delivering friendly, professional customer service. Starting pay is $15 per hour, with weekly pay. No prior experience is required.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Must successfully complete a background investigation and a post-offer/pre-employment drug and alcohol test.
May be required to pass a Driver’s Record check.
Must be professional, articulate, and able to exercise good independent judgment and discretion.
Must be able to work overtime as needed.
Must have outstanding verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

Assist with all aspects of event-day preparation and execution.
Manage appropriate entry into venues, including collecting or scanning tickets and verifying wristbands and badges.
Direct traffic entering and leaving the venue.
Understand and follow the policies, procedures, and regulations of different venues, facilities, and events.
Greet guests in a friendly, personal manner and thank them at the end of interactions.
Provide guests with helpful directions and suggestions to enhance their event experience.
Direct and usher guests, provide customer service, and help ensure designated areas remain clean, operational, and maintained.
