About The Position

Allied Universal Event Services is hiring Holiday Event Staff for the holiday season. Event Staff support event-day preparation and execution at venues by helping guests enter, collecting or scanning tickets, verifying wristbands and badges, directing foot traffic, and providing friendly customer service. Team members may work at venue entrances, aisles, concourses, or other designated locations and help maintain the cleanliness, operational efficiency, and maintenance of assigned areas. The position offers flexible part-time scheduling under 30 hours per week and weekly pay every Thursday at $15.50 per hour. No experience is required.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must successfully complete a background investigation and a post-offer/pre-employment drug and alcohol test.
• May be required to pass a Driver’s Record check.
• Must be professional and articulate, and able to use good independent judgment and discretion.
• Must be able to work overtime as needed.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with all aspects of event-day preparation and execution.
• Allow appropriate entry into venues; collect or scan tickets, verify wristbands and badges, and direct traffic entering and leaving the venue.
• Understand and follow the policies, procedures, and regulations of different venues, facilities, and events.
• Greet guests in a friendly and personal manner and thank them at the end of each interaction.
• Provide guests with helpful directions and suggestions to enhance their entertainment experience.
• Help ensure the cleanliness, operational efficiency, and maintenance of designated areas.
• Communicate with guests using a natural speaking voice, friendly tone, and appropriate inflection.
