About The Position

Stratton’s Events team is seeking team members to work during the winter. Event Staff are responsible for setting up, breaking down, and cleaning up resort events, concerts, and festivals; assisting with event security; and supporting event execution. This is an occasional position compensated at $20.00 per hour. The role requires evening, weekend, and holiday work. Duties must be performed satisfactorily with or without reasonable accommodations.

Requirements

Actively pursuing a high school diploma or equivalent.
Excellent communication skills.
Self-motivated.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to follow directions and ask pertinent questions.

Nice To Haves

Previous event work.
Previous guest service experience.

Responsibilities

Set up, break down, and clean up events, including moving chairs and tables.
Set up the movie screen and sound system for movie night.
Sell popcorn, candy, soda, and other items.
Possibly act as a runner for band needs.
Assist with event security.
Set up fencing and other security measures.
Monitor exits to help ensure guests do not leave the venue with alcohol or enter without a ticket; training for security needs is provided.
Perform additional duties as required.
