HMIS Team Manager (Nevada)

Bitfocus•Nevada, USA, NV
•$95,000 - $118,000•Hybrid

About The Position

Bitfocus is hiring an HMIS Team Manager to lead its Nevada portfolio, serving as the day-to-day Bitfocus contact for three Continuums of Care: Las Vegas/Clark County, Reno/Sparks/Washoe County, and the Nevada Balance of State. The role combines team leadership with hands-on HMIS administration using Clarity Human Services and Looker. The portfolio may expand to additional communities, and the position offers a management career track. The manager partners with CoC and HMIS Lead leadership, community partners, and policymakers; oversees customer agreements, contracts, deliverables, renewals, and invoicing; and makes sure work is completed on schedule. They recruit, train, mentor, and evaluate team members, set priorities and staffing coverage, and serve as an escalation point. They also configure the HMIS, support users and agencies, create reports and dashboards, deliver training, and oversee implementation of HMIS policies, data-sharing agreements, and privacy and security requirements. This is a hybrid role for someone based in Nevada. Work is performed remotely, with statewide travel and in-person meetings as often as monthly. The employee needs reliable internet and a focused workspace for calls.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience leading a team.
  • Experience supervising staff at more than one level and providing direct performance feedback, including managing underperformance.
  • Background in homelessness response or human services; ideally at least 6 years of experience. Equivalent professional experience is accepted in place of a related degree.
  • Strong working-relationship skills with civic leaders, social service agency staff, and community stakeholders.
  • Experience managing projects from conception to completion while meeting contractual obligations.
  • Ability to negotiate in politically sensitive situations and explain technical and policy concepts to non-technical audiences in writing and presentations.
  • Sound judgment under pressure, including timely decision-making, logical resolution of escalations, and ability to learn new software quickly.
  • Must be based in Nevada and able to travel statewide and attend in-person meetings as often as monthly.
  • Reliable internet connection and a workspace suitable for focused work and uninterrupted calls.
