About The Position

U-Haul is hiring a Hitch Service Technician to work in the lots of its moving and storage centers, using technical skills to help customers with towing equipment. The role involves understanding and explaining U-Haul’s towing packages, recommending and installing suitable packages on customer vehicles, and providing customer service and support. Technicians participate in ongoing education through U-Haul University. The posting offers hourly compensation of $13.00 to $15.00 and lists a $100 hiring bonus, a $300 cash bonus upon completing the specified equipment inspection and verification certification, and paid working interviews. Requirements

Valid driver’s license and ability to maintain a good driving record.
Basic wiring and hand/power tool experience.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Must be legally authorized to work without employer sponsorship.

Responsibilities

Understand and explain U-Haul’s variety of towing packages.
Recommend and install the right tow package on customer vehicles.
Provide exceptional customer service and support to U-Haul customers.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Participate in ongoing continuous U-Haul education through U-Haul University.
