About The Position

U-Haul is hiring a Hitch Service Technician to work in the lot of a U-Haul Moving and Storage Center, using technical skills to provide service to customers. The role involves understanding and explaining U-Haul towing packages, recommending and installing appropriate packages on customer vehicles, and providing customer service and support. Technicians participate in ongoing education through U-Haul University and perform other duties as assigned. Starting pay is $18.50 per hour. The position is not eligible for employer sponsorship; applicants must be legally authorized to work without requiring sponsorship.

Requirements

Valid driver’s license and ability to maintain a good driving record.
Basic wiring and hand/power tool experience.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Legally authorized to work without employer sponsorship.

Responsibilities

Understand and explain U-Haul’s variety of towing packages.
Recommend and install the appropriate tow package on customer vehicles.
Provide exceptional customer service and support to U-Haul customers.
Participate in ongoing continuous U-Haul education through U-Haul University.
Perform other duties as assigned.
