About The Position

This is a new position for a Regular Part-Time Professor to teach History of Art I (ART1360 Section A) during the Fall 2026 academic period. This course is a survey of the history of art, architecture, and ideas from a global perspective, covering the Paleolithic era to the Early Renaissance. The course will be offered in-person and has an expected enrollment of 100 students. Applicants are reminded of the importance of ensuring that ALL prior experience and relevant credentials are reflected in the curriculum vitae.

Requirements

• Ph. D. in History of Art or equivalent.
• Teaching experience at post-secondary level.
• Publications.
• Competence in second language: Passive.
• Must successfully complete all mandatory legislated training.

• An acceptable level of education and/or experience could be viewed as being equivalent to the educational required and/or demonstrated experience.
